Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a unique item that can make certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and can be offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components

Insignias or enchantments, as well as prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item, while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures and ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats which will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied when other bonuses are applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs available to you. Be aware that only the correct kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item and each weapon, piece of jewelry or armor piece has an array of different Glyphs.
You can level up Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph attains level 15 it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
When a Glyph is at the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide its stated bonus and will also boost the other nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and that is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rerolling
